The Steel project was sponsored by Atlas Tubing. Steels interaction with other materials is common place. Most frequently Steel is structural. Especially in architectural and military instances. Inspired by suspension bridges I knew to include steel cable.
Getting water from the Flint river
The goal was to create a form you can make multiples of. Once I created my form, from wood. I made multiples of it using Polystyrene through Vacuum forming. I discovered I could multiply my form even more using plaster. Plaster, more cost effective, but heavier than Polystyrene
Flint Free City Labyrinth
Lighting is something that is extremely interesting. Light is truly what creates form, without it we could not see. Lamps give the ability to harness light, though not without its hurtles.
